Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service (ToS) govern access to and use of the CapyDex website available at capydex.com.

By creating an account or using the service, you accept these Terms without reservation.

2. Service description

CapyDex is a web application that lets Pokémon TCG collectors:

  • Browse the full catalogue of sets and cards
  • Manage their personal collection
  • Track the value of their portfolio in real time
  • Manage a wishlist
  • Check market prices (CardMarket, eBay)

3. Registration and account

Access to collection features requires creating an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.

You agree to provide accurate information and not to create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes.

4. Subscription and payment

CapyDex offers a paid subscription (Capy+) at €1.99/month or €19.90/year, with 1 free month included. Payment is securely handled by Stripe.

The subscription has no commitment. You can cancel at any time from your account. Access remains active until the end of the paid period.

In the event of non-payment, access to premium features is suspended. Your data is kept and you can resume your subscription at any time.

5. User data and content

The collection data you enter (owned cards, purchase prices, notes) belongs to you. You can export it at any time in CSV or PDF format.

You can delete your account and all of your personal data at any time from your account settings.

6. Intellectual property

The site's code, design and text are the property of CapyDex. Pokémon card images, logos and associated names are the property of Nintendo / Creatures Inc. / GAME FREAK inc.

Displayed prices come from third-party public sources (CardMarket, eBay, TCGplayer) and are provided for guidance only. CapyDex does not guarantee their accuracy.

7. Liability

CapyDex provides a tracking and information service. Displayed prices do not constitute investment advice. CapyDex cannot be held liable for buying or selling decisions made on the basis of the information displayed.

The service is provided “as is”. CapyDex strives to keep the site available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

8. User conduct

It is forbidden to use the service to:

  • Scrape or massively extract data from the site
  • Create automated accounts (bots)
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts
  • Use the service for illegal purposes

Any breach may result in suspension or deletion of the account without notice.

9. Discord integration

The user may, entirely optionally, link their CapyDex account to a Discord account via OAuth2. This link is never required to use the service.

If the user enables the Discord link, CapyDex collects:

  • The Discord ID
  • The Discord username
  • The Discord email address (only for account matching)

This data is used to:

  • Link the Discord account to the CapyDex account
  • Automatically assign the corresponding roles on the CapyDex Discord server (notably @Capy+ Member for an active subscription)
  • Give Capy+ subscribers access to the premium lounge

The user can unlink their Discord account at any time from their account area. Discord data is then deleted immediately, and the corresponding roles removed from the server.

Use of the CapyDex Discord server is subject to Discord's Terms of Service.

10. Changes to the Terms

CapyDex reserves the right to amend these Terms. Users will be informed by email of any substantial change. Use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the French courts shall have jurisdiction.
