Riftbound TCG: Riot Games Unveils Upcoming Releases Through Mid-2027

Riot Games has recently shared new information regarding the future of its trading card game, Riftbound TCG. Following the announcement of the names and release dates for the first two sets of 2027, 'Legacy' and 'The Reckoning', additional details have been revealed.

The set 'Legacy', scheduled for release on January 29, 2027, will be a crossover with the classic League of Legends universe. It will feature Champions such as Ashe, Garen, Heimerdinger, Illaoi, Karma, Lux, Tryndamere, Vladimir, and others. This set will contain 364 cards.

'The Reckoning', set to launch on April 30, 2027, will focus on some of League of Legends' larger champions, including Aurelion Sol, Cho'Gath, Shyvana, Vayne, and Zilean.

Riot Games also mentioned that an eighth Riftbound TCG set will explore the region of Bandle City.

In addition to these two main expansions, a special product named 'Gift of the Rift Bundle' will be available starting December 4, 2026. This anniversary gift box will contain boosters from the game's first five sets along with an exclusive Akali alternate art promo card. Another box, the 'Secret Garden Gift Box', will be offered at specific events.

Finally, drawings for the 'Riftbound x T1 2025 Worlds Champion Collection' will take place from August 14 to 17, 2026.
